Join our Bestie and National Geographic Naturalist, Gabriel Ortiz, as your local expert tour director for this one-of-a-kind experience. Together, we’ll explore the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes of Panama — from 3 nights in historic Panama City to 5 nights in the tropical paradise of Bocas del Toro.

This immersive trip includes internal flights, ground transportation, activities, and accommodations (central hotels), all thoughtfully arranged so you can relax, learn, and connect with fellow travelers who share your sense of wonder.

Because of the nature of this tour, the following itinerary is tentative. We will provide explicit plans and activities closer to departure day. If it is listed below, it is included (unless noted as optional).

• Flights to/from USA to Panama are optional.

  • Internal flights to Bocas del Toro are included in the price.

• There will be three dinners included

• Amanda will be including a beautiful breakfast "at least" one day

April 17 | Departure Day

• Travel overnight from the USA to Panama City

Days One - Three

April 18 - 20 | Panama City

• Tour of historic Casco Viejo

• Embera Indigenous Village Visit

• Biomuseo

• Panama Canal Visit

Days Three - Eight

April 20 - 25 | Bocas del Toro (Isla Colón and Red Frog Beach)

• Bike to Starfish Beach

• Snorkeling Tour via Boat (1 day)

  • Optional Upgrade- Scuba Diving (fee TBD)

• Snorkeling Gear when needed

• Island Hopping!

• Hiking/Birding with Bestie Gabe

• As of right now, our estimated total is $2,500 (without flights to/from the USA & Panama)

• The $95 deposit is a non-refundable donation to Teach Wanderlust 501(c)(3) and guarantees your spot on our adults-only tour and goes towards the price of your tour.
